Pamela Abdy serves as Co-Chair and CEO of 美高梅網上賭場. Motion Picture Group, encompassing 美高梅網上賭場. Pictures, New Line Cinema, and 美高梅網上賭場. Pictures Animation. WBMPG continues to build on its legacy of iconic feature franchises and world-class cinema, delivering a diverse slate of films for global audiences.

Abdy serves as Co-Chair and CEO with Michael De Luca, sharing oversight of the Studio鈥檚 global theatrical production, marketing, and distribution operations. In addition to her Motion Picture Group responsibilities, Abdy, along with De Luca, has curatorial oversight of WBD鈥檚 TCM (Turner Classic Movies) network, in partnership with filmmakers Paul Thomas Anderson, Steven Spielberg and Martin Scorsese. She joined 美高梅網上賭場. in 2022.

Prior to joining 美高梅網上賭場., Abdy served as MGM鈥檚 Motion Picture Group President, overseeing development, production and post-production for all MGM and Orion films. She oversaw Sarah Polley鈥檚 Academy Award庐 Best Picture-nominated 鈥淲omen Talking鈥 which earned Polley the Academy Award庐 for Best Adapted Screenplay, Ridley Scott鈥檚 鈥淗ouse of Gucci,鈥 starring Lady Gaga and Adam Driver; Paul Thomas Anderson鈥檚 Academy Award庐 Best Picture-nominated 鈥淟icorice Pizza,鈥 which marked the studio鈥檚 first such nomination since 鈥淩ain Man鈥 won in 1988; 鈥淐reed III,鈥 starring and directed by Michael B. Jordan; Conrad Vernon and Greg Tiernan鈥檚 鈥淎dam鈥檚 Family 2鈥; and Ron Howard鈥檚 鈥13 Lives,鈥 which was nominated for three SAG Awards.

Before that, she was a Partner and Head of Film at Makeready, managing the independent production company鈥檚 feature development, production, and post-production. During her time at Makeready, the company financed and produced 鈥淨ueen & Slim鈥 from director Melina Matsoukas and writer Lena Waithe, and 鈥淎 Million Little Pieces鈥 from director Sam Taylor-Johnson.

From 2013 until 2016, Abdy served as President of Production at New Regency. During her post at the company, New Regency released Alejandro Gonza虂lez In虄a虂rritu鈥檚 Academy Award庐-winning 鈥淏irdman or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance),鈥 Adam McKay鈥檚 Academy Award庐-winning 鈥淭he Big Short,鈥 Justin Kurzel鈥檚 鈥淎ssassin鈥檚 Creed鈥 and Gore Verbinski鈥檚 鈥淐ure for Wellness.鈥 Abdy also oversaw the release of In虄a虂rritu鈥檚 鈥淭he Revenant鈥 in 2016, which received 12 Academy Award庐 nominations, including Best Picture, and won two Golden Globe awards, for Best Motion Picture 鈥 Drama and Best Actor.

Prior to New Regency, Abdy was the President of Scott Stuber鈥檚 Bluegrass Films, where she procured, developed and produced features including 鈥47 Ronin,鈥 鈥淚dentity Thief,鈥 鈥淜ill the Messenger鈥 and 鈥淓ndless Love.鈥 

Abdy previously served as Executive Vice President at Paramount Pictures, where she oversaw the development and production of numerous films, including Martin Scorsese鈥檚 鈥淪hutter Island,鈥 鈥淭he Love Guru鈥 starring Mike Myers, Kimberly Peirce鈥檚 鈥淪top-Loss,鈥 the Judd Apatow-produced 鈥淒rillbit Taylor,鈥 Oliver Stone鈥檚 鈥淲orld Trade Center,鈥 Karyn Kusama鈥檚 鈥淎eon Flux,鈥 Richard LaGravenese鈥檚 鈥淔reedom Writers,鈥 Alejandro Gonza虂lez In虄a虂rritu鈥檚 Golden Globe-winning 鈥淏abel鈥 and Mark Waters鈥 鈥淢ean Girls.鈥 

Abdy started her career as an intern at Jersey Films while participating in the Emerson College internship program. She was hired as the receptionist and went on to become Danny DeVito鈥檚 assistant. From there, she rose through the company and ultimately became President, where she associate-produced 鈥淢an on the Moon鈥; co-produced 鈥淐aveman鈥檚 Valentine鈥; executive produced 鈥淗ow High鈥; and produced the film 鈥淕arden State,鈥 which won an Independent Spirit Award for Best First Feature Film and a Grammy Award for Best Compilation Soundtrack Album for a Motion Picture, Television or Other Visual Media. 

Abdy is a member of the Producers Guild of America, serves as a Governor on the Executive Board of the Executive Branch of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, sits on the American Film Institute鈥檚 Board of Trustees, and is a part of The Hollywood Reporter鈥檚 Women in Entertainment Mentorship Program.
